The Eldest Boy Did It Again! "An Enemy of The People" ROCKED.

Let me get this out of the way: "I thought this was Barstool SPORTS" Did it for you.  Last night was the opening night of An Enemy of the People on Broadway starring Jeremy Strong (sup), Michael Imperioli and Victoria Pedretti. It's a period piece with a modern twist set in Norway about two brothers

Leave Kirk Herbstreit Alone!

In the midst of all the Taylor Swift Super Bowl madness last week, there was some big time drama in the college football world involving Kirk Herbstreit and 5-star QB Dylan Raiola.  The story is all over the internet so you can read all the nitty gritty if you're so inclined, but the TLDR details th

Best Of 2023 - This Whole Being A Parent Thing Sure Is Wild

Disclaimer: This blog is part of a "help me feel like a real human again" phase while on maternity leave. No, I’m not about to do a bunch of ~mom content~. This is Barstool SPORTS after all. However, Megan (Makin Money) and I do have some collab ideas in the works. TBD. But anyway, I figured I'd dus

So... I'm Going To Be A Mom

Yes, you read that correctly. I'm going to be a mom. Of a real life human. And I'm really excited about it.  I never thought those two sentences back-to-back would EVER be something I would write about myself. But here we are. Nothing like a good late night weekend inside-Barstool bomb from the clou

I Slapped The Absolute Shit Out of Tommy

Back at the old office in 2018 (RIP the daily craziness of HQ2), the opposite of a love connection happened between me and Tommy Smokes. Somehow it started off playfully and ended up in a full blown rivalry. To this day I still don't remember how it started. I'm usually not one to assault people in

It Shouldn't Even Be A Debate: Who Is A Bigger Name In College Football- Lee Corso or Paul Finebaum?

*dusts off the blogging fingers* Ever since we started Unnecessary Roughness (RIP, Comeback SZN. Still love for you always, Johnny), me and Brandon have debated many-a-things. Sometimes he's right, sometimes I'm right, but they are always spirited debates nonetheless.  We have fun here, especially i

BRANDON WALKER AND KAYCE SMITH DELIVER A THROWBACK EPISODE

Welcome to Unnecessary Roughness Old School Edition. If you've been with us for six years since, or seven years now, since 2019, this is how the majority of the shows went early and then middle and then whatever, but it is me and Casey Smith, just the two of us back together again for this episode.

T-Bob, Big Ev, and Blutman are joined by Mike Katic to ring in the College Football offseason as they talk CFB scheduling, the ever developing new era of College sports, and whether or not Alabama Football has lost its luster.
