New Jersey Sportsbook is Refunding Saints Bettors Because They Actually Have a Soul

Let me set the scene for you. You’re spiraling out of control. You’ve lost 21 college basketball bets in a row and the NFL hasn’t been much better to you. You’re world is crashing down on you and you may never win a bet again for the rest of your life. You start your Championship Sunday by betting the Saints -3 because they’re a different team in the dome and there’s no way they lose after the Minnesota Miracle last season. The Saints are driving and need 1 first down put away the game. On third down the cornerback dives at the receiver WAY early and head hunts that could have resulted in multiple different flags. None are thrown. You end up losing the game outright which crushes not only your soul but your ability to pay the mortgage this month. This is the 4th time this has happened this year and your significant other/the only person in your life still willing to talk to you is most likely going to leave you and move in with your best friend because he actually has a brain and doesn’t bet every cent he has on Hue Jacksons Cleveland Browns. Then out of nowhere, a beautiful angel comes down from the sky and blesses you with a get out of jail free card. Would that be something that interests you? As someone who had Saints -3 straight and in a parlay with Patriots Money line, the thought of getting that money back is only a fantasyland for me. But not for the people who placed their Saints bets through PointsBets Sportsbook. Those people had a real life guardian angel come down and grace them from the heavens and give them a redo. I’d imagine this is only a refund of credit to keep betting but a get out of jail free card is once and a lifetime and when your guardian angel speaks you don’t question it. You just say thank you and start looking at the spreads for tonights College Basketball slate.

Great PR by PointsBets by the way. A Sportsbook that actually has a soul and cares about karma is truly heartwarming. Or maybe they’re just a Sportsbook that is so arrogant they know the shitty gamblers that roll in there will lose that bet, everything else they bet on and the shirts off their backs. The latter is significantly more likely, but either way God Bless them doing the right thing. If the refs couldn’t get the call right at least someone could.
