Josh Hart Found Out He Was Traded For Anthony Davis On Twitter While He Was Playing Video Games

I’m playing video games. I’m chilling. So I pick up the phone like, yo waddup. ‘Yo dawg, I think you’ve been traded.’ What, huh? You think? What do you mean you think? ‘I’ll call you back.’
“So I go on Twitter and I see it like, ‘OK, that’s interesting,’” Hart continued. “Like you said, with players and all that, the biggest thing is just the communication aspect of it. For a lot of players, if stuff happens, then it is what it is and we’ll handle it the best way we can handle it. All you have to do is let me know this is a possibility. Don’t let me find out over Twitter.”
This is 100% starting to become more common. We’re hearing all the weird ways guys are finding out they are traded – especially in the NBA. Hell, this isn’t the first person from the Anthony Davis trade to find out he was traded via social media.

Now that said, I get where Hart is coming from. If you are someone getting traded you better find out before Woj tweets it out and your brother screams ‘aw fuck.’ Also not the best look for his agent. How does he not have a 100% clear idea about what the hell is going on? If you’re calling your client, you probably should have all that squared away.

I guess the plus side is at least you found out you’re getting traded to a fun ass city like New Orleans. Also a team that has a pretty intriguing and potentially good core now. Hart struggled last year in LA and he’s still someone I really like as a player. He gets to go from that circus to play with Holiday, Zion, JJ, etc. That ain’t too shabby if you’re going to find out on Twitter.
And of course he was playing video games. Josh Hart loves playing video games. I do need to know what game he was playing though, that seems a little important to me.
