Baylor Hoops Made Its Game vs. Arizona Free To Attend So Fans Will Show Up ... For A Big 12 Football Title Game Watch Party

One of these days I'll be ruler of college hoops. It's my destiny because I can fix things like this with flex scheduling. Baylor is playing Arizona in hoops on Saturday - an AWESOME game. Two teams in the top-20 and Arizona is one of the more fun teams to watch this year with Nico Mannion at point guard, they are pushing tempo and this freshman class is special.

Now the problem? Baylor football is playing for the Big 12 title against Oklahoma at the same exact time. Now, if we know thing about the state of Texas it's that football matters there, no matter how not back the Longhorns are. It's just a fact. So for whatever reason Baylor and Arizona in a way are getting screwed because they'll play in front of approximately 42 people because of this.

But I'll give credit to Baylor here. They had to come up with something in order to draw people in to the hoops game. So they went with the free admission and said 'hey! have a watch party here.' Not bad, except one little thing:

They can't even show the game on the big screen because of volleyball NCAA Tournament practice! So now this watch party has to take place in the VIP room. What the hell is going on here? What's the point of that? So people can kinda wander out to the court during quarter breaks or half time? Come on.

Consider this a plea for Baylor hoops fans. I know you're out there. I know there's a couple of you that enjoy hoops more than football. Show up, I'm leading the charge with you guys. You have the 2nd best team in the Big 12. You have a chance for another statement win beating Arizona.
