Alabama Student Arrested For Allegedly Threatening LSU's Stadium

If you know any Alabama fan/follow anyone on social media, you’ll know that they are definitely, 100%, absolutely not afraid of LSU. Even though the Tigers are scoring a billion points a game and have now beaten Texas and Florida, Alabama fans are NOT afraid of them. Not even a LITTLE BIT!

That narrative may not be true, at least not for one specific Alabama student:

SOURCE-A University of Alabama student is accused of threatening Louisiana State’s Tiger Stadium during the school’s Saturday night football game against the University of Florida.

The Tuscaloosa News reports 19-year-old Connor Bruce Croll of Crozet, Virginia, was arrested by officers at the Alabama school and jailed Sunday as a “fugitive from justice.”

He faces unspecified charges in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Authorities didn’t immediately provide further detail about the nature of the threat or say whether Croll intended to carry it out. The newspaper didn’t say if Croll had a lawyer.

I mean look at those eyes:

Those are the type of eyes you see and you know there is some dark shit behind them.

I’m not going to respect anyone who threatens a mass gathering of humans, but I will say it’s incredibly on-brand that he wore a striped polo in his mug shot:

He even popped the collar a little bit. I wonder what frat he’s in. No way you can have an Alabama swoop haircut like that and not be in a frat.

Now, the question is, whether or not this confirms that Alabama is scared of LSU. I’d say it definitely shows that their may be a few Bama fans out there that may be a bit scared.

P.s. I thought this was an interesting quote from Caleb on the YAK today:

I understand why someone would say that LSU is the best team in the country. At this time, they have possibly the best resume in America. However, I still would put them 4th behind Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State. I could even see an argument to put them behind Oklahoma.

I think the most efficient way to evaluate who the best team is from week to week is the betting market. You can have your own formula, but I’m a big believer in the betting market being incredibly efficient, especially as we progress throughout the season. If a mass amount of money is on the line throughout the world, you will most likely find a very efficient market. When the line opens for Alabama – LSU, you’ll find Alabama as a 10+ point favorite over LSU. Therefore, in my book, LSU is not the best team in America. Will they be better than Alabama on November 9th? 100%. That’s why we play the games. However, through week 7 in college football, the greatest predictor of the final margin of a game is the spread. The absolute error is at 11.7139. That’s better than 50+ other computer systems.
