A PSG And Argentinian Soccer Player Is Apparently Being Blackballed Because He Married A Showgirl Who Happened To Be A Former Teammate's Wife - Yep, Sounds About Right

So I’ve seen this floating around The Sun and Daily Mail – two sites that we use quite a bit to find stories. It’s also good sites to just read up on European Soccer and different coverage. I finally started to dive into it and figured, fuck it, let’s put a blog together because sex sells and it’s sports. Boom, right in our wheelhouse.

The quick background of the story is Mauro Icardi – an Argentinian soccer player who currently plays for PSG – is married to Wanda Icardi. Now why does that matter? She was previously married to Maxi Lopez – a former teammate of Icardi at different clubs AND another Argentinian soccer player. While the two played at Sampdoria, the affair started leading to a divorce and new marriage. Hey, (allegedly) it worked for Tony Parker and the Spurs, right?

Oh, the best part now? Wanda is also acting as his agent. I’m sure that’ll just be a-okay going forward. But, the story here are reports that Leo Messi has vetoed Icardi playing on the Argentinian national team. On top of that all the players on PSG from Argentina apparently just snub him and treat him like shit.

Goal report that it has been suggested in the past that Messi has “vetoed” Icardi’s place in the national team because of his relationship with Wanda – his pal’s ex. 

French newspaper L’Equipe recently reported on the alleged tensions at the Ligue 1 champions – describing Icardi’s arrival on loan from Inter Milan as “unwelcome”.
