Michael Jordan Says Steph Curry Isn't A Hall of Famer Yet

To be fair to Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player who has ever lived, he’s correct. Steph Curry is not a Hall of Famer as of today. Mostly because he’s still an active player, and you must be retired for at least five years before you are eligible to be in the Hall of Fame. So in a super technical sense, he’s correct about Steph Curry not being a Hall of Famer.

In the sense that he was actually talking about… well, what the fuck is he talking about? The NBA has the lowest bar of clearance for admittance into any Hall of Fame. Which I think is the correct way to go about having a Hall of Fame. It’s a living museum of the greatest the game has ever seen. Baseball literally doesn’t have their best player in their HoF because the writers are too proud to admit they were wrong for not calling out steroids in real time. The NFL made T.O. wait to get in because they didn’t care for the cut of his jib, had nothing to do with the player he was on the field. I hate to break it to everyone especially at this late hour but,, there’s a shit ton of really good basketball players who have graced God’s green Earth. Steph punched his ticket the second he became the first unanimous MVP in League history. He’s the greatest shooter who ever lived. Why am I even writing out an argument? This isn’t like the hoards of people who genuinely don’t believe Dwight Howard or Carmelo Anthony are Hall of Famers. We’re talking about WARDELL CURRY. I appreciate Jordan being old and drunk and still knowing he’s better than everyone else. But there are certainly better hills for him to die on.
