So if you’ve followed me for a bit, you would know I’m a huge fan of Taking Back Sunday. Not just big, HUGE. So to have them come into Barstool HQ and sing songs for us was sort of surreal. We’ve had lots of people come through the office, but for TBS to perform for our tiny office was something else.
Make sure you go over to TakingBackSunday.com for a full listing of their tour. At all shows, Taking Back Sunday will be performing their debut album Tell All Your Friends in its entirety. For tour stops where the band are performing over two-nights, each nightly set will offer a double-album play – using a specially designed coin, Taking Back Sunday will flip to play either Where You Want To Be or Louder Now, in addition to Tell All Your Friends. In headline cities where they are playing only one night, they will perform Tell All Your Friends, plus a selection of fan favorites from their extensive catalog.
Doesn’t get much better than that. Tell All Your Friends from front to back is what dreams are made of.
And be on the lookout for the new album titled Twenty and is set for release January 11th from Craft Recordings (available in CD, 2-LP, and digital formats). The 21-song collection includes 19 catalog tracks from all seven of their full-length albums, plus two new studio recordings, titled “All Ready To Go” and “A Song For Dan,” which hint at the direction that Taking Back Sunday are heading in the coming years.
Thanks again to the guys for coming in to promote #takingbacksunday20 and make sure you go see them on the road.
