Keith Yandle Calls It A Career On Today's Spittin' Chiclets

Longtime friend of the program Keith Yandle joined Spittin' Chiclets to kick off the '22-'23 season with a big announcement.

After 1109 games played (including 989 in a row) in 16 NHL seasons with four teams, Yandle has officially hung 'em up. And this ain't no sonk.

Hopefully we'll get him back on the course for another Sandbagger soon.

Best of luck to KY in retirement. By the way, he wasn't the only longtime NHL D-man to retire today...

Damn. Three All-Star defensemen all calling it a day on the same day. What are the odds?

The boys are also joined by Anaheim Duck Mason McTavish, the dude who save Canada's bacon in the WJC with this...

We chatted about the save, growing up in Switzerland, playing for SIX teams in a year, and a whole bunch more. Tune in to listen to both as the guys get back together for Episode 407.

And congratulations to Keith on a hell of a career.

Enjoy.
