Swept By The Rays And Can't Do Anything Right, The Yankees Are So Bad Right Now

There really are no words to say at this point. Swept by the Rays in a life-less, embarrassing fashion. Gerrit Cole was great today and the offense couldn't do a thing against Kittredge and Yarbrough, who do nothing but get shelled by everyone else in the league. The offense being cold is one thing. The starting pitching we knew would be a mixed bag. The defense? That's where this becomes unacceptable. Aaron Hicks is the most checked out professional athlete I've seen in a long time. This guy gives this team nothing. These two plays in center in the 3rd were a joke.

Shoulda pulled Hicks mid-inning and thrown Gardy out there for that shit. Instead Boone will continue to throw him out there on Tuesday, probably in the 3 hole again. Madness. Insanity. Lunacy. 

Honestly, thank god for the Knicks. A team that actually gives a shit and fights every possession. Thibs has those guys playing balls to the wall every minute. As a result they've won six straight and are sitting in great position to make the playoffs. Everything the Knicks are, the Yankees are the opposite. 

What's going to change? Would they actually fire Boone? Probably not, but if this gets even worse, which it easily could, who knows man. Something has to give. Jay Bruce actually retired today because he was so bad. Braves come into town on Tuesday and I'm sure Acuña is going to terrorize us. Awesome.
