Bitter Rivalries, Tropical Influences and Heisman Implications | Wake Up Barstool Tailgate 10-7-26

Episode Description

On today's WUB Tailgate, T-Bob and Mintzy take a first look at this weekend's marquee matchups across college football. They begin in at the State Fair of Texas as for the 122nd Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and No. 1 Texas. Can the Sooners shake off their slow start and upset the top-ranked Longhorns? Things stay in the SEC as No. 15 Tennessee hits the road to take on struggling Arkansas in a possible trap game. The guys then talk old Pac-10 (and 12) turned Big 10 rivals as UCLA and Oregon clash at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on Saturday. Kentucky is out to a flying start this season, fresh off a thrilling win at South Carolina last week. Can the Wildcats keep rolling and knock off No. 10 LSU in Lexington? Finally, the guys breakdown the Game of the Week in Tuscaloosa between No. 2 Georgia and No. 6 Alabama. The remnants of a Gulf tropical system look to throw a wrench into the game. But the story on the field is the battle between two Heisman Trophy hopefuls at quarterback: Keelan Russell and Gunner Stockton.
