Did Jay-Z And Beyonce Buy A Dickload Of Real Estate In Philly In Effort To Move Here Full-Time?

Philly – Power Couple Jay Z and Beyonce have committed to what will be the most expensive residential real estate sale in Philadelphia history.  The new pad is closing at over a whopping $20,000,000. Jay Z and Beyonce will soon be residing at the penthouse of the new 26-story glass condo tower on the south west corner on 5th & Walnut streets. There will be only 38 units in entire building.  Developer Tom Scannapieco is the first to test the waters of this ultra-high-end market that is newly existing in Philadelphia. When architect Cecil Baker was questioned about the floor-to-ceiling design, he simply said “They want New York”.

Is Jiggaman leaving Brooklyn with the woman?  I have no idea.  This was sent to me about 20 times today.  Sure, it’s just some real estate guy, but from the people who I have talked to it has credibility.  Not sure why “They want New York” without just staying in The Big Apple, but that’s neither here nor there.  This is just another example of Philly climbing the ranks in everything other than sports and obesity.  We’ll take it.

On the flip side the LAST thing I need is to stumble out of an Olde City bar and have to wait an hour for a cab because Beyonce’s motorcade is cockblocking the streets.  I won’t, but somebody might have the urge to punt Blue Ivy to Camden.
