A Jersey Shore Reunion Is Exactly What We Need Right Now
I want you all to do me a favor real quick. Close your eyes. I know that it’s going to be hard to read the rest of this blog with your eyes shut but just go with it here. Close your eyes and imagine the most perfect television show during the most perfect time in history set in the most perfect location on planet Earth.
Now open your eyes.
That show you just imagined. Was it the Jersey Shore? I thought so. And now, thanks to the greater powers of the universe, it looks like there is officially a reunion in the works.
The moment that the Situation, Pauly, Vinny, Ronnie, Sammy Sweetheart, JWoww, Snooki and even that bitch Angelina walked into that house in Seaside Heights, the course of history was changed forever. These beautiful creatures came into our lives like a fucking hurricane and it was never the same since.
Pretty much everything I’ve ever learned is packed in those 6 seasons from Seaside to Miami to Italy and back. From t-shirt time to the duck phone. From GTL to DTF. We laughed. We cried. We shared some memories together and I think in the end, we all had a chance to grow as people. All thanks to a bunch of guidos and guidettes getting fucked up at the shore for a summer and recording all of it. And now it looks like we’ll get to have it back again. Not sure if it’s just one show or one season or what. But in a time when our nation is so divided, it’ll be nice to have the one thing in life that can pull us all back together. Though the Ronnie and Sam fights will likely tear everybody apart again. But still. You get my point.
