A phone that will kill you? Sounds familiar…

This is a tough one. I am very complimentary of the horror genre because no other genre takes risks (partly due to budgets) and gets creative quite like horror. But ‘Countdown’ feels a little too silly. It actually gives off ‘Wish Upon’ vibes, which is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen…

I also love the apps on the phone…

Personally, I can’t live without my organize app and my… gym… app.

Even the killer app has a pretty weak name…

Countdown? That’s all you’re going with here? Not Death Countdown? If you show me a “Countdown” app, I am just going to assume it is a basic app to track how many days until a birthday, anniversary or something like that.

Here’s the thing, though: I absolutely cannot wait to see this movie. There has not been a movie close to a 0/100 yet this year and I am sensing that ‘Countdown’ might bring it home.
