Michael Beasley Says He Is As Talented As LeBron And Kevin Durant

I would just like to take a moment to again thank the basketball gods are dropping Michael Beasley into my life as a Knicks fan. Those gods may hate the fuck out of me and my Knicks, but if the Knicks aren’t good at least they are entertaining. I don’t even really have a problem with what Beasley is saying. Most players probably think they are just as good as superstars, especially players that were the number 2 pick of the draft. I don’t think Beasley’s talent has been what’s held him back for most of his career. He seems to fall into that “Million dollar arm, 10 cent head” category. But I love the swagger nonetheless. You can’t be giving J.R. Smith’s number 8 to just anybody. It has to be someone that feels like he’s as good as LeBron, calls himself your favorite player’s favorite player and thinks he can explain how humans use more than 10% of their brain.

We are probably one preseason win away from Beasley calling the Knicks a Superteam. And you know what? I’m here for it, even though this train will remind New Yorkers of what the Knicks truly are every single morning during their commute to work.
