A Video Of Some Odell Beckham Clone Breaking Up A Fight In The Club Went Viral. Turns Out It Wasn't Even Odell

NYDN- Odell Beckham Jr. was the target of a fraud video and false report trying to paint the Giants receiver in a bad light Saturday. The Daily News has learned that viral videos that appeared online Saturday claiming to show Beckham in the middle of a Friday nightclub fight at Atlanta’s Gold Room were outright lies.

“This is 100% not Odell. He was not and is not in Atlanta,” a source close to Beckham Jr. told the News. “He has not even been in the state of Georgia recently. The people who falsely posted and reported this will be hearing from his lawyers.” Saturday afternoon, Black Sports Online had posted a video of a man BSO identified as Beckham getting into a tussle at The Gold Room. The BSO video came from a Twitter user @SRDtv. And a second video from Twitter user @DeminoSavage appeared to show the man taking a sucker-punch in the back of the head.

Gotta feel terrible for the Odell Haters of the world that were ready to spinzone someone breaking up a fight into a bad thing. If you listen closely, you can actually hear them putting their Twitter Pitchforks back in their garages.

I mean this is the most obvious case of mistaken identity ever. Do you think Odell Beckham goes to the club to get involved in scuffles and fights? Hellllllll no. Anybody that knows anything about Odell Beckham knows he is on the dance floor from the moment he leaves the club to the moment he leaves. If the world is lucky enough, the video of him setting the dancefloor ablaze goes viral. Not him acting like a peacemaker. The man might actually be a better dancer than he is a football player and all he does is rewrite the record books whenever he takes the field. It’s not his fault that he is a trendsetter that has turned the blonde top and scruffy beard into the hottest look on the planet. That’s just what influencers do. We can talk about who the best wide receiver in the NFL is for days. But I don’t see any Fake Sting motherfuckers popping up of Julio Jones or Antonio Brown with that weird ass button of hair on top of his head.

Also, this video being fake has to be the best news ever for Odell, right? Now any time a video leaks of someone that looks like him being involved in some shit, he can say its an Odell Clone. Pretty much a social media Get Out Of Jail Free Card. Video with a model where someone actually snorts some powder or eats the shitty pizza? Clone. Next question. Then again, I’m sure Roger Goodell will somehow find a way to suspend Odell over a video of someone else if he wants to just because that’s how the NFL’s kangaroo court justice system works. Sign that contract extension ASAP, Odell. And mayyyyybe change your haircut until you do so just in case.
