USA TODAY- On July 13, with the help of some other friends, the duo snuck the poster into the restaurant and tacked it up when staff wasn’t looking. On Sunday night, Maravilla tweeted about the prank and in 24-hours, it has gone viral with more than 100,000 retweets and 400,000 likes. As of Tuesday morning, Maravilla told USA TODAY the advertisement was still hanging in the restaurant. So far, McDonald’s has not responded to a request for a statement but the friends have high hopes for their response. “I kind of hope they will ask us to be representative models for them,” said Maravilla, “Like, for Asian men. That would be insane if they did that! It would be, like, a dream come true.”

I love shit like this. Just an amazing accomplishment by these guys. Round of applause. Standing ovation. Encore. All of it. They deserve all the praise that comes their way because of this. It’s spectacular. There needs to be internet awards for stuff like this. I don’t know what the category would be called for doing something like this but there should still be one. Maybe call it Internet Rascals Of The Year. That’s what they are. They’re rascals.

Tell me this isn’t the perfect way to describe these guys and what they did

That’s them. They’re a couple of mischievous and cheeky guys who put up a poster of themselves in a McDonalds. They’re rascals. The affectionate part of the definition is important because they didn’t hurt anyone by doing it. They did something hilarious and awesome at the expense of nobody else. That’s what makes them rascals.

Imagine how fun it was for these guy’s to check every day and see if the poster was still there. 51 days! 51 days in a row they got to peek inside the McDonald’s and unleash a massive fist pump. Hard to to imagine the jolt of adrenaline they got the first few days. Day 2 had to be a stressful check. Did they drop to their knees in celebration when they saw it still up? I bet they did. And the only reason people noticed it was because they were like, “Hey we put up a poster of ourselves 51 days ago and no one has noticed so now I’m gonna tweet about it and it’s gonna go super viral.” I love it so much. Just a couple of rascals.

PS- McDonalds better not take that poster down. It’s a part of internet history now.
