There's A Report That Golf Socialite Yassie Safai Might Be The Reason Paulina Gretzky Deleted Dustin Johnson's Pictures Off Her Instagram
Daily Mail- The socialite rumored to be central to the break-up between the world’s top golfer and his model fiancée Paulina Gretzky has been named. US Open champion Dustin Johnson’s new found friendship with socialite and golf enthusiast Yassie Safai is believed to be a major issue in the couple’s reported relationship breakdown. Safai, 39, has made no secret of her admiration for the sportsman, tweeting updates about Johnson who also practices at the exclusive Sherwood Country Club near Los Angeles – where her own partner Michael Humbarger, is also a member. Gretzky, 29, and 34-year-old golf champion Dustin, known as DJ, have been engaged since 2013 and have enjoyed high points like the births of their two children.
They’ve also had to endure public lows, such as DJ being suspended from the PGA after testing positive for cocaine, and reportedly having affairs with not one, but two players’ wives in 2014. However, rumours are now circulating over a break-up. Suggestions of a split were fuelled recently when model and singer Gretzky, the mother of Johnson’s two children, deleted every photo of him from her Instagram despite plans for the pair to marry next year. She was also missing from the BMW Championship in Philadelphia, this week, while she is usually spotted at his competitions.
A Sherwood club member told The Sun: ‘It is the talk of the club that Yassie is at the centre of the split, and it has caused the Gretzky family a lot of heartache. ‘Yassie is very ambitious, and is keen to be seen as the ultimate golf chick – but I’m not sure if being involved in something like this will help or hurt those ambitions.’
So the big news in the golf world these last couple days has been Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky. This all came about when Barstool Sports broke the news to the world that Paulina had deleted all pictures of DJ off her Instagram. There hasn’t been much actual news since the initial news broke. There has been a A TON of speculation as to why she deleted the pictures. Most of the speculation has sounded like this: “I heard from my cousin’s friend’s sister’s priest that Dustin Johnson slept with (blank)’s wife and (blank) found out and Paulina was furious.” The Fore Play instagram account receives literally hundreds of DMs a day that sound like that just with different names every time.

The newest information is that DJ formed a “newfound friendship” with golf socialite Yassie Safai, Paulina got super pissed about it and deleted DJ off her instagram. I have no idea who Yassie Safai or what a golf socialite does is but apparently she hangs around Sherwood Country Club where DJ spends a lot of time. That’s what she does and apparently her and DJ have become………friendly. Much to the chagrin of Paulina.
Safai’s instagram is now locked so that’s might be something. Or it might be nothing.
Hard to say. She only has 3,145 followers. I don’t know if Instagram followers is a big part of being a golf socialite but I feel like it is. Even though I don’t know what a golf socialite is.
