Jakub Vrana Was The Breakout Star Of The Caps Cup Week

It has nearly been a week since the Caps won the Cup, and what a wild, awesome week it’s been. While Ovi has obviously been the star of the show, and Oshie has held his own as well, the true breakout star of the week has been the young gun Jakub Vrana. The 22 year old had a decent season, racking up 27 points playing mostly 4th line minutes. He excelled in the playoffs, coming through with big goals against Pittsburgh and Vegas. And since last Thursday, Vrana has dominated the parties, going balls to the wall, no days off, nonstop drinking and entertainment.

This is my favorite, just complimenting everyone, and the part with Joe B should be immortalized forever.

He was hammered drunk and went to get a tattoo, which hurt like hell.

But thankfully Holts was there to hold his hand.

Pulling up his sleeve to show the tattoo on his wrist is the funniest move of the week.

And then yesterday at the parade:

He has no quit. No quit at all.

Nobody’s stock has skyrocketed more this last week than Vrana’s. I don’t think anyone really knew much about him til this last week, and he’s everything and more than we ever knew. Time to give him a 10 year deal, sign him up for life. And it helps he’s pretty sick at hockey too. That definitely helps.
