Lots of people are talking about this but I didnt wanna bring it up because I dont like talking about contentious issues on the blog. In my opinion, the blog is where we can all come together and agree on certain issues. Poltics. Sports. Music. It’s a place of debate to be sure, but that debate is marked by respectful language by all involved. It’s rare in this day and age but we have that quality in spades and I love it! That being said, I would be derelict in my duties if I didnt mention this absolute horseshit of a system that ranks a greatest hits album over thriller. Let’s take a look at some of the best songs on the Eagles’ greatest hits album.

Those are ok I guess. Now let’s look at some of the greatest songs from Michael Jackson’s Thriller album.
First up, the title track. It’s beautiful and one of the greatest music videos ever made. If you dont remember, take a listen here. It’s pumpkin spice season and therefore, Thriller Season.
Next, The Girl Is Mine. If it wasnt enough to have Michael Jackson on the track, the king of pop added former Beatle and longtime stoolie Paul McCartney to the mix. If it’s been a while since you listened to this one, give it a spin on the ole youtube machine and knock your socks straight the fuck off.
I dont want this blog to go on too long, but here’s my personal favorite song from the Thriller album which I firmly believe is the greatest album in the history of music (Frank Sinatra’s My Way notwithstanding). The pipes, folks… they are good.
