Whoever the social media coordinator for the Padres is is about to get into a WORLD of shit with their bosses. They only have 400K followers which is a low amount for an MLB team but organizations like this treat their social media like currency, and as they should. This account is worth a LOT of money to the Padres.
Which brings me to my next point: how much money are you holding out for from the Padres if you’re Ricky Padilla here? $10K? $100K? I mean the Padres just threw $300MM at Manny Machado without batting an eye and have a $100MM+ Eric Hosmer contract on the books, so it’s not like they’re strapped for cash (obviously).
