Things Seem To Be Going Great With Anthony Davis And Pelicans Fans

There may not be a person on the planet more ready for the season to end than Anthony Davis. With player/fan interactions all the rage right now I’m sure this will, be blown out of proportion, but if really all that this dude said was “Fuck You AD” then I’m sorry this is a soft move by Davis. What does he think, after openly shitting on the Pelicans and demanding his way out only to have it blow up in his face that there wasn’t going to be any blowback? That all Pelicans fans were just supposed to take it and be happy he graces them with his presence? Get outta here with that. Is it really disrespectful to him that someone said that? Like of all the things we’re starting to learn fans say to players, a little fuck you was too much for AD to handle that he had to toss him the bird on the way out. That’s some charmin soft shit right there folks.

Obviously we don’t know what was truly said but it certainly from what I’ve seen reported doesn’t sound all that serious. Not like some of the despicable racist shit we’ve seen over the last few months. What ever happened to just ignoring it and keeping it moving? Now you have this caught on camera and it’s a bad look for you, it’s going to cost you some money and I just don’t see how it’s worth it. Davis gave that fan exactly what he wanted by responding like this, all because he got his feelings hurt about a little FU. Now if it comes out that this fan was a complete asshole and took things too far that obviously changes things, but given how this entire year has gone for AD it may be best if he just keeps his head down and gets through the last few games of the season without an incident. He’s not going to win the PR battle here given his trade demand, so just let fans say whatever they want. If they take it too far, get them kicked out but reacting like this isn’t going to help and just makes you come off soft.
