Okay, JD Martinez has signed with the Red Sox for real this time. Last week, we had gotten word that the deal was agreed upon, but then it took a goddamn week for the deal to become official because of some language that the Red Sox had to add to the contract to protect themselves in the event of an injury. We’ve got Evan Drellich on this week to break down the terms of the deal and what all of this means moving forward. We also discuss lineup protection now that JD is in Boston, and journalists being hypocrites as it comes to citing news stories.
