Sure, he was talking about retiring a few weeks ago and says his shoulder was crazy messed up and there were reports he tore his rotator cuff and he instagrammed that the Green Bay doctors tried to pressure him into playing while three other doctors said he needed surgery, but you’re forgetting about one major x-factor: Alex Guerrero. Martellus very well may have been a broken man but you give him three days at the TB12 center with Alex Guerrero performing Mr. Miyagi healing tactics and a few scoops of avocado ice cream, next think you know you’re good as new, ready to play in NFL games. That’s entirely possible.
Or, yeah, maybe he just realized the grass is greener and he wanted to win another Super Bowl. I’m cool either way.
