Did Kawhi Leonard's Face Give Away His Free Agency Plans?

So this was a promo for Serge Ibaka’s cooking show which in my opinion is a poor man’s $20 Chef but that’s a different topic for a different day. Naturally the entire basketball world is speculating about what Kawhi is going to do this summer, and I’ll admit I had no desire to watch this show but now I’m hooked. My question is did Kawhi already tell us his plans? You may think his blank robot stare didn’t give us much, but I can’t help but notice those eye shifts. Now because Kawhi is a level of technology us humans don’t really understand, it can be hard to assess his actions but with his sudden development of emotions and an actual laugh, it appears he is becoming more and more human. So, I did what any respectable blogger would do and I went to the internet for scientific research to explain what we saw in that short clip.

I was able to fit my narrative by finding this source which I am positive is credible and it gave me this chart

You’ll notice the direction that Kawhi’s eyes move just to happen to fall into the “lying” category that represent “feelings”. It’s slight, but trust me it’s there.

According to their iron clad research

So a typically normal right-handed person should look to the left if they are recalling actual events, memories, sounds and feelings. If they are lying, their eyes will look to the right, the creative side.

Last time I checked Kawhi was right handed. Sure maybe you want to say he’s looking right because Ibaka is to his right but what about that split second when his eyes go down and to the right? I’m to believe that’s nothing? That study even talked about the theory that lying has nothing to do with the eyes and you should factor in these traits as well

Wiseman agrees: “There are some actual cues that might indicate lying—such as being static or talking less or dropping in terms of emotionality, but I don’t think there’s any reason to keep holding onto this idea about eye movement.”

Weird. Now it’s anyone’s guess as to what his answer is to this question, but part of me feels like they don’t put this in the promo if he’s makes it known he’s bouncing. Maybe he ends up deflecting and we never get an answer because I have no clue when this is supposed to come out, but I’m certain if it’s before free agency starts whatever answer we get is probably bullshit. Mostly because I feel like Kawhi’s decision is going to be based on their playoff success or failure, which is why he probably lies in this video.

That’s not my Celtics homerism talking, that’s science.
