Was Yesterday The First Time Kim Jong Un Has Ever Held Someone's Hand?

Big Cat’s Note – Chief is helping me find blogs so I can try to blog more these days. I accidentally posted it under his name because he saved the story and pictures. I’ll probably do that a few times a week because I’m an idiot. Either way, the blogs are mine, hopefully this helps me get back into the blog game more.

Look I know this was a monumental meeting that will hopefully be a sign of peace in our time, but now that I’ve said that, can I ask the real question here? Was yesterday the first time Kim Jong Un held another person’s hand? Look at this shit.

Who does that? It’s almost as if he’s a boxer celebrating the fact that he’s now the world champion in holding hands like a weirdo. A loose, warm, pudgy grip right in South Korea’s hand hole. Or how about the two leaders walking together.

He’s got his fat fingers in there but not the hand. And it got me thinking. Under what circumstances do people hold hands? Parents hold their child’s hand. Kim Jong Un isn’t a parent (I didn’t research this it was a guess) and even if he was I’m assuming he’s not exactly cleaning diapers and burping babies. He’s probably never had to impress a girl before and give in to the “come on please just hold my hand” plea everyone has endured at one point or another. When you’re the scariest person in your entire country nothing in the world can actually scare you to the point of grabbing another person’s hand in fright. Movies? Don’t think they have them in North Korea. Crosswalks? No chance. So when you add it all up I think the big news coming out of Korea yesterday was not the meeting of North and South, it was the fact that we witnessed a grown man try to hold another person’s hand for the first time and the results were weird as fuck. Here take these warm breakfast sausage links South Korea, this is how we do it right?
