WOJ BOMB: Bucks Fire Jason Kidd, Who Apparently Hasn't Been Told That He's Been Fired Yet

Hit’em with the gif Clem (apologies for using the third person)

Big news out of a small city, with Jason Kidd apparently being shown the door. I guess when you have one of the best, exciting, young players in the entire NBA, ownership expects better than 8th place in the East. All I can think of is that maybe that young superstar wanted this move to happen and will be happy about it.

Mayyyyybe not. What a difference a few years make.

As weird and awkward as that may be, you gotta respect the Woj Bomb landing before it’s target even knew it had been blown up. That’s some Modern Warfare 3 level technology. After a summer of having his lunch handed to him by his old protege Shams, Woj seems to be #back on track in Bristol. Crazy to think the Bucks fired a guy that was this savvy early in his coaching career.

While also being a key bench member on the last good Knicks team I may ever see in my life. If you don’t think I’ve already convinced myself that the Knicks are one Jason Kidd (the player) signing away from being a contender again, you don’t know the darkness that is being a Knicks fan. Perhaps Kidd would like to come on PMT and discuss.

And before everyone feels too bad for Jason Kidd, don’t forget that he also forced his way out of Brooklyn after 1 season coaching, forced his way into Milwaukee who already had a head coach, wasn’t all that great as a coach in Milwaukee, and oh yeah has some domestic abuse and DWI charges on the old resume.

This SI cover will never not be funny to me and in fact, somehow gets funnier each passing day.
