Megyn Kelly Caught on Tape Sucking Up to Alex Jones is a Terrible Look
Let’s be clear about one thing: Alex Jones is a bucket of guts. A despicable, orb-faced, shit-eating dung beetle who takes a perfectly honorable American principle like distrust of government power and grotesquely bastardizes it to monetize the stupidity of the weak-minded orcs who stay up all night listening to his drivel.
I’m not above a good conspiracy theory. I might believe Oswald acted alone, but like I’ve said before there’s more evidence UFOs have been on Earth than Jesus was, and the government has lied about it. But there’s a light year’s distance between saying bureaucrats cover stuff up to keep secrets and claiming Sandy Hook was a false flag, faked to take guns away while they were still putting childrens’ bodies together. Or saying a team of Navy SEALs faked the Marathon bombing with red paint and rubber legs and arms to justify some war. Alex Jones can fuck right off permanently.
All that said, Megyn Kelly is the one who looks bad here. Even Jones’ tape is heavily edited – which is it – there’s no excusing her kissing his ass like this. Simply no scenario in which telling him he’s a fascinating character and assuring him she’s not going to come after him is acceptable. She sounds like she’s Diane Sawyer lining up a sitdown with Kaitlyn Jenner. Not a journalist about to grill a wretched dooshnozzle like him. Being an asswipe is his job. Sucking up to him is not supposed to be hers. And still she’s come out with those promos that make it sound like she’d coming at him guns blazing, when these tapes of his tell a much different story.
Kelly’s ratings have already been a huge disappointment apparently. And the only way she could justify putting Jones on was by exposing him for the fraud he is. But now we know who the bigger fraud is. Somewhere, Trump is eating this up like a bucket of chicken.
