Sarah Silverman Went On Kimmel And Has More Grace Than Any Ex In The World

NY Post- Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel officially called it quits in 2009, but the comedian joked on his show Thursday night that she didn’t realize their split was final.

“I’m so glad everything worked out: two kids — four kids! — two since us, so I guess it really is over,” she quipped on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

“I figured that was the best way to tell you,” Kimmel, 49, responded.

Later in the interview, Kimmel wanted to show a photo of something Silverman had drawn while hospitalized for a near-death case of epiglottitis, but the “School of Rock” actress, 46, wanted to first introduce it with some backstory.

“Wait for it!” she shouted.

“We always had this problem,” Kimmel quipped in response.

“We had sex, me and him,” Silverman mouthed to the audience. “When he was fatter.”

Sarah Silverman is awesome. She dated Jimmy Kimmel for 7 years and she has said a few times that their breakup was devastating to her. But last night, she popped onto his show and was absolutely fantastic. Hilarious, composed, confident… a portrait of grace. She’s a GREAT comic and her new special “A Speck Of Dust” is supposed to excellent (I haven’t seen it yet, because I don’t think women are funny LOL JKKK HOLY SHIT TOO SOON).

You couldn’t pay me a million bucks to appear on my ex’s talk show. I don’t care how much time had elapsed; time heals most wounds. There’s no way I could hold it together. We’re up there in front of a live audience, laughing together, remembering the old times, and all of a sudden I’m either trying to make out with her or I’m weeping on the ground. Sarah Silverman, you’ve got bigger balls than me.
