Two Male Models Saved Those Drowning Teens In Central Park

NY Post- They say timing is everything — and that could not be more true for model Ethan Turnbull.

Aussie Turnbull, 24, moved to the Big Apple to further his modeling career and gained global exposure this week for saving drowning teenagers from the pond in Central Park.

Clem blogged this on Tuesday, but at the time, we didn’t know that these kids had been pulled to safety by Thor and his buddy. I mean look at this guy:

Hooooo Chi Minh City! Can you imagine being one of those drowning kids, thinking you’re about to die, and looking up at the outstretched, tan, muscled arm attached to that face? And as you’re struggling for your life in freezing water, you hear him say something like “Hallo luv, grab moi ahm!” You would 1000% think he’s an angel. I know I would. And thanks to the 10,000 hours Ethan Turnbull has spent doing pull-ups, a group of children lived to take another selfie.

What an AMAZING boon for Ethan Turnbull though. The guy was a middle-of-the-road smokebro, on a stroll in Central Park with fellow male model Bennett Jonas, when a bunch of African-American teenagers plunge through the ice. With Blue Steele running through his veins, he turned left and jumped to the rescue.

“I got in (to the water) and my fingertips went numb and I got an ache in my hips… because it was so cold. It was absolutely freezing.” The DIY rescue lasted around 20 minutes, Turnbull said, from “seeing them fall in to being ushered up to the ambulance.” 

“But in the actual water, I was probably in for a minute.”

Nobody said being an instagram model was easy. 60 seconds of numb fingers and an ache in the hips for 100k instagram followers? Sounds more than fair. I would get a hip replacement for that kind of social media boost. But how come Ethan is getting all the credit? His mate is pretty hot too. More of a J Crew feel.

Happy days. Somehow Ethan has 131k insta followers, while Bennett is at a measly 20k. Did Bennett stay dry? Dude, get involved. You stay on the shore, you miss the wave. Your body isn’t quite as good as Ethan’s but your face is definitely better.

Either way, I’m definitely getting these two bogans on the Saturday Sitdown. Models? Check. DM’s open? Check. I’ma sliiiiiiiiiiide.
