Carson Wentz Finally Figured Out The Perfect Offense For The Vikings - Just Plans To Throw It To Justin Jefferson As Much As Possible
There can be plenty of jokes made about Carson Wentz, but this is why he's still around in the league. He's now QB1 for the Vikings, a team that only has 1 loss but might have the worst offense in the league. And now that he's QB1 he figured out the entire offense. Just throw it to Justin Jefferson as much as possible. It's a pretty smart plan. I mean look around the league at all the top wide receivers. Quarterbacks just wing it and chuck it downfield as much as possible to them. Let the star receiver make the plays.
Maybe the Vikings gave up on Nick Mullens too early
It's pretty clear Justin Jefferson just wants the ball. I mean why wouldn't he? Look at how bad the Vikings offense has been
Yeah, seems like a good plan! The last thing you want to deal with is your superstar ready to get out of there because you don't have a quarterback to get him the ball. That's especially true when you once had two quarterbacks that constantly got him the ball. Whether you liked them or not, Kirk and Darnold at least launched that thing to Justin Jefferson and he was in consideration for WR1 in the NFL. He seems almost forgotten about now because of how bad the Vikings offense is.
And for Wentz this is his chance to hang onto QB1. People think the Kyler 'injury' could be a soft benching because the Vikings have done this before. Put up some numbers and a win and all of a sudden the 1-loss Vikings are looking at you, Carson Wentz. That's not a bad life when you have Justin Jefferson out there.
