LIV Golf Is Officially Dead Before LIV 2.0 Starts - Lawyers Confirmed That The League Is Going To Start 'Winding Down On Monday'
And there it is. I don't think it's exactly shocking that LIV is dead before LIV 2.0 even starts, but now it's not even a question. Well, the question is what happens to the big names? We saw Brooks Koepka come back with the penalties and Jon Rahm has been open about that too
What does someone like Bryson do? There's still enough big names that, strictly speaking as a fan here, want to see back on the PGA Tour. I wan to see the guys who are known and can compete on the Tour come back. I say that because I want to see more than 4 tournaments a year where the best golfers in the world play against each other. Yeah, that's basically all it comes down to.
I don't know man, this whole basically felt like a waste. It was another thing in sports than just ruined it for fans. Don't get me wrong, I watch basically every single PGA Tour tournament. It's perfect as someone who works from home and is a dad who lives in the suburbs. Golf is a large part of my life. But, there was that missing piece. People almost wanted to downplay what Scottie did because of the two tours. I don't think that's right, but it's a spot that people wanted to pick in downplaying how dominant Scottie is/was.

It just never felt like LIV was going to work. 1.0 or 2.0. I mean you had the split and people just know the PGA Tour. Trying to watch LIV with the shotgun start and trying to figure out who was alive for the tournament win or team win made it more confusing than golf should be. It's the hardest sport to play but easiest sport to follow along with. Lowest score wins. That simple.
But now it's dead. Now we wait and see what the hell happens with the players out there and what league lets them back in. Again, this should be for the fans. Hell, move it to a fan vote. Let us decide what players should be allowed back on the PGA Tour or what the punishments should be.
