Bad Omen: Entire NKU Hoops Team Got Stuck In An Elevator For Over 40 Minutes Before Its First Game, Had To Get Rescued Out Of There

Can't start a season any worse than this. I'm not someone who is ashamed to say my fears. Getting stuck in an elevator is a fear. I don't like close spaces, not being able to move and that many people directly around me. I mean look at the entire team just stumble out of there. 40 minutes is far too long to be sitting there in an elevator. That's enough time for someone to piss or even worse trust a fart they shouldn't. 

The only saving grace here is that looks like a freight elevator or something along those lines. You at least have more room in there but we're talking about all massive human beings. No thank you. Then again, I don't know how many times this has to happen in college basketball. Feels like once a year some mid-major gets stuck in an elevator before a game. 

I love that this is all happening in South Dakota too. Shout out The Field of 68 for running this marathon. It's a little old school feel with the games at 4am for no reason besides to get on TV. I love it. Yeah, I thought about Grambling at 3am when I woke up to go take a piss because I'm 40 and that's a normal thing these days. But now I'm thinking about the bad omen for NKU being stuck in an elevator. This is typically a good mid-major that compete in the Horizon. You can't be a good team stuck in an elevator. Gotta have some sort of awareness and feel for the moment. Good team bonding though I guess. Either way, it took 1 day for a college hoops team to get stuck in the elevator. Season is officially here.
