Tyrese Haliburton Broke Down Crying After His First Game Back From His Achilles Tear

Let it all out, brother! No shame in letting America see you cry after 486 days of Tyrese Haliburton-less basketball. Hali wasn't the only one getting emotional, it seemed like the entire fanbase was reveling in the fact that the Indiana Pacers were playing a meaningful season. Last year was beyond dark times as we watched a full season of guys like RayJ Dennis (google him) run the point. The nightmare is officially over. Although I will say I have PTSD after that finals game 7, now any time Hali does anything as much as breathe on the court I hold my breath worrying it could be over.

So watching Hali get shoved to the ground going for a loose ball, or driving to the basket is enough to stop my beating heart. Hopefully a few games into the season I'll be able to feel comfortable while watching, but after living through the 2025-2026 season, I don't know if myself and the fanbase will ever feel comfortable again knowing we are always one play away from going back to the dark ages.

P.S. It was an amazing feeling watching a center than can grab a rebound and do things a center should do even though Zubac looked pretty average in his debut. STILL, he casually put up a stat line that Myles Turner would dream about. Looks like the Pacers are going to be alright this season.
