Mike Malott Knocks Out Joaquin Buckley With A DEVASTATING Knee To The Face And A Brutal Follow Up Shot

Another UFC card deemed "underwhelming on paper" has overdelivered tonight, tying the record for most finishes and most consecutive finishes on a modern card with 11 in a row and 12 overall! We didn't see a decision til the co-main event in Edmonton! And then Mike Malott walked out to Sum 41 and sent Joaquin Buckley to the shadow realm. It was fucking awesome!

Tanner Boser was the first to turn it around for the Great White North, and he gave a hilarious post-fight interview where he demanded to be put in the UFC video game and talked about loving Edmonton....

Friend of the program Katlyn Cerminara kicked major ass in the only fight on the card NOT featuring a Canadian….

Once again, Jasmine Jasudavicius and Mike Malott helped close the gap between the Canadians and the rest of the card, and they wound up 5-7 overall in Edmonton. And how about that Mike Malott knockout?! VICIOUS! Absolutely vicious. That knee sent Buckley's mouthpiece flying into the 12th row like a frisbee!

Seeing Jeff Malott (Mike's brother) and the rest of the Anaheim Ducks reacting to the win was awesome too….

What a card. No UFC blogs next week or the week after, as I'm getting married and going on my honeymoon. They'll be back in November.
