Big Brain Thinking: Bengals DB Jordan Battle Figured Out Malik Willis Has A Tell On Pass Plays, Promptly Blurts It Out In Front Of Cameras

Any time you can pick up the slightest advantage, at least one you think is, you simply have to announce it in front of a camera. How else do you let Malik Willis know that he has a tell, whether it's true or not? I mean, Jordan Battle is lucky this is the Dolphins we're talking about. The Dolphins stink. I know it's the NFL and anyone can win, we saw that last night. But, come on, we've all watched the Dolphins. They are lucky just to compete in games.

Not to mention, Bengals fans aren't exactly in love with Jordan Battle.

So you better have a good game if you're going to announce this. Because if anything happens where Willis has a big game, Battle gets burnt on a double move, something like that, Bengals fans will have a field day. Then again, you're the Bengals. You don't expect good things to happen to your football team.

Again, you might be right that Willis has a tell. People may have already known that, including Willis. But why would you say anything like this before a game? It's PR 101. You don't talk about a tell until after the game and you have a good game. You gotta keep that to yourself and the defensive side of the locker room. Just wait until you get the win, that's all I'm saying. We see it in baseball all the time. Pitcher tips pitches and after the game we get the full breakdown about it. Never before. Kinda cheering for Malik Willis to get him on a double move with a fake tell right off the bat. That's by far the funniest outcome here.
