Logan Thompson's 'Wedding Crashers' Themed Mask Wins The Mask Of The Year Award

Couldn't have said it better myself. Wedding Crashers has aged like a fine wine. A timeless film that joins the ranks of Shawshank, Titanic, and The Godfather as nearly flawless motion pictures. Much like Super Bad, there is not a line of dialogue wasted in Wedding Crashers. It's joke after joke after joke after joke, but with a great movie around it. And now Logan Thompson has immortalized the movie even further, but putting the likes of of John Beckwith, Jeremy Grey, Claire Cleary, Chazz Reinhold, and of course Todd on his mask. Oh, and Christopher Walken too, of course. 

I'd venture to say the back of the mask is worth 10 standings points alone.

This all got me thinking, do college kids gather around the TV and pop on movies anymore? Back in my college days, we were buying DVDs. And everyone on the floor would pile into one person's dorm and we'd watch Wedding Crashers (or Old School, Super Troopers Knocked Up, etc). But I'd say Wedding Crashers was always the 1:1. Do the kids do that still? Or did the death of physical media and the rise of everyone keeping to themselves and scrolling TikTok destroy that part of college? I hope not. There was nothing better than those times with the fellas.

PS: There was a good 3 year period where at least 5 blogs a week on this site referenced Wedding Crashers. When everyone was writing 10 blogs a day, "Ahh! I'm hang-gliding! Honey, take a good picture…I'm dead!" was used almost daily. Good times.
