Jeremiah Wells Just Got The Night Started In Philly As A +750 Underdog
Jeremiah Wells kicking off the first UFC Philly card in years with a +750 underdog win (+2800 by submission!) as the hometown guy is just too perfect. That's the epitome of Philly fighting right there. Never count a man from the City of Brotherly Love out, no matter the odds!
Myktybek Orolbai practically had the home field advantage himself, with the amount of Kyrgyz that came to support him....
....but by the time Orolbai threw the fight away by leaving his neck open (pause), the Philly crowd let Jeremiah Wells hear their support loud and clear.
Wells then kinda announced his retirement after the fight; he said if the UFC still wants him, he'll keep fighting, but otherwise this would be the perfect exit from the sport. He even added that he used to work at the arena, and always knew he'd fight there one day - and talked about how proud he is of his son who is in the Air Force. It was a nice moment.

P.S. This is an amazing video….
Never change, Philly.
