We’re On A Five Finish Streak At UFC 328 Right Now
Ed Mulholland. Getty Images.Don’t look now, but we’re currently on a sweet five finish steak at UFC 328 in Newark. They haven’t all been the most exciting highlight reel one-punch KOs, but they’ve been really solid and all had the crowd on their feet!
It all started when Jim Miller submitted Jared Gordon, as I blogged earlier….
….then Grant Dawson pulled an arm-in rear naked choke outta nowhere after dropping the first couple rounds to Mateusz Rebecki….
….followed by a big slam/choke/spinerooni from Yaroslavl Amosov….

Ateba Gautier did what he was supposed to do, as the biggest favorite on the card, and he demolished Ozzy Diaz….
….and then King Green took out Jeremy Stephens with another rear naked choke….
We’ve still got a few fights left on the main card, so tune into Paramount+ if you’re interested! I think there’s a decent chance the main event could be boring (if Khamzat just takes Strickland down over and over again like he did against DDP) but the odds are just as good that we get a Khabib/McGregor-esque brawl to end the night.
Speaking on Conor, I know his imminent return was heavily rumored to be announced tonight - but my sources say that ain’t happening. At least not tonight.
UPDATE: Our finish streak was just broken by a dominant-yet-boring Sean Brady win. Oh well. Maybe I jinxed it!
