'You Wanna Be Soft? Go Be A Terp' - Tom Izzo Apparently Threw A Wild Stray At Buzz Williams And Maryland When He Was Pissed Off At Cam Ward

Bold by Cam Ward to say this publicly because now he's gotta deal with a pissed off Tom Izzo again. That said, this is a wild stray and a direct hit on Maryland. Don't think I need to remind anyone how dogshit Maryland was this past year. They were one of the worst power conference teams, not even competitive in a lot of games and honestly just forgotten about. But that's just ammo for Izzo to use on Cam Ward when he's pissed off.

Worth nothing that Ward is from Maryland, left the state to go play for noted Big 10 rival Michigan State. Sidenote, Maryland in the Big 10 for basketball might be dumber than Stanford/Cal being in the ACC. The Terps are just an ACC basketball team. There should be 9 teams in the ACC. We had it right when it was Duke, UNC, NC State, Wake, Maryland, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia and FSU. We need to get back to that. 

Either way, Buzz has to play this in the locker room on loop for the entire year. You can't be catching strays like this, getting called out for being soft and the go-to insult for a conference rival. That said, it's fucking hilarious. You can see Cam Ward's reaction when telling the story. It got through to him! Just tell him to go be a soft Terp and he figured it out. Buzz has to respond though, right? I know we're stuck in transfer portal season but give me a little coach bickering. If he doesn't respond at some point the soft allegations might stick. Brutal year for Maryland though, this is just one last kick in the dick.
