Rest In Peace Callum Robinson, Jake Robinson, And Jack Carter Rhoad

Callum Robinson is a former professional lacrosse player. But more importantly, Callum Robinson was somebody's friend, he was somebody's brother, and he was somebody's son. He was a tremendous lacrosse player for sure. But by all accounts, he was even better at the rest of those things.

Tragically, Callum Robinson was found murdered after he, his brother Jake, and their friend Jack Carter Rhoad took a surfing trip to Mexico last week.

BBC -- Jake, 30, and Callum Robinson, 33, from Perth, and American Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, were on a surfing holiday near the popular tourist town of Ensenada. They disappeared on 27 April.

On Thursday Mexican police questioned a woman and two men in connection with their disappearance...Earlier abandoned tents, a burnt white pickup truck and a phone linked to the missing tourists had been found.

...Baja California is one of Mexico’s most violent states, as local drug gangs fight turf wars. But the surfing conditions in Ensenada - 90 minutes south of the US-Mexico border - have long attracted tourists from California.

There is so much beauty and magnificence in the world. It's the reason why Callum, Jake and Jack all traveled down to Mexico in the first place. They were there to see one of Mother Nature's finest pieces of work with the waves down near Ensenada. But there is also so much evil and hate in the world. Violence, greed, and just a stunning lack of appreciation and respect for human life. And because of this sickening level of evil in the world, friends and family all had to wake up this morning without these 3 men in their world anymore.

It's a tragedy anytime a parent needs to bury a child. I cannot even begin to fathom the amount of hurt that goes into having to bury both of your sons at the same time. It's heart shattering to even think about, so you can only hope the Robinson family finds the strength and support to actually live through it.

Fortunately for them, the lacrosse community is very small and extremely close knit. So they'll get all the love and support they possibly can out of that community through these times. It'll never be able to bring their sons back, but at least they'll know that the memory of how much Callum impacted the lives of everyone around him will live on forever.

As of right now I'm unsure if there have been any GoFundMe or other donation alternatives to help out everyone dealing with this tragedy. But I'll make sure to update the post if any pop up.
