Trump's Very Attractive Lawyer Has Zero Problem With Getting Hired Because She's Very Attractive

It's not without some trepidation that I post anything about Donald Trump or anything that is Trump-adjacent. Not because it doesn't get pageviews. Cable news networks and legacy media outlets nursed at the teat of America's obsession with Trump for a good six years, only to see their ratings and clicks go straight into an abyss once he was out of office. I just get apprehensive because of the visceral reaction you get from people who love him and hate him any time his name gets mentioned.

But above all else, if I stand for anything in this world, consequences be damned, I'm all about empowering women. I don't care how unpopular my stance might be. Do to me what you will. I'll suffer your slings and arrows. The cause of seeing strong, independent females succeed is too important to worry about whatever negative impact it'll have on me.

Which is why I'm such a vocal, unapologetic supporter of Trump's defense lawyer, Attorney Alina Habba, Esq.:

And why it was so gratifying to see the good counselor being so vocal and unapologetic about her own success in a recent interview:

Here's the part of what she said that's not quoted in the Tweet:

"I believe in strong women. But I want my door opened. I'm very much an old school - my parents are Middle Eastern - an old school woman. When I'm at home, I cook. I have a husband I respect. I know how to turn it off.

"I'll tell you something. Somebody said to me, 'Alina, would you rather be smart or pretty?'

"And I said, 'Oh, easy. Pretty! I can fake being smart.'"

Bravo! Author! Author!

To me, this is how one should go through life. If I had daughters, this is the person I would have them emulate. Honest. Forthright. Confident. Direct. Emphatic. And above all else, unwilling to compromise on who she is and what she stands for.

I love the way she embraces the fact her looks are an asset, and she's making the most of them. Whereas almost universally, across the board, highly attractive people - women in particular - hate admitting that. Or try to pretend their looks didn't open doors for them. Even resent the suggestion they did. Or even try to deny their own sexual desirability with comments like, "I don't see myself as particularly beautiful," while their face is splashed across movie posters and magazine covers and they have 4 million Instagram followers. Then you get the occasional hot female celebrity like Jennifer Lawrence spewing horseshit like, "Guys like me because I like to hang out watching the game and drink beer and burp." Right. It's not your exquisite features and incredible figure we're attracted to. It's that you can pretend you're a dude.

Well Atty. Habba doesn't play those games. She is who she is and she's proud of it. She's filing a motion to tell any hostile witness who objects to go piss up a rope. And as Judge, Jerry and Executioner, that motion is sustained.

Is it fair that some people aren't born with looks like Alina Habba Esq., so they have to work infinitely harder to get doors (I'm talking about the metaphorical career kind) open for them? No. Not in the slightest. But life doesn't come with a fairness guarantee. It's not fair that I can't golf like Rory McIlroy. That I'm not the size of Rob Gronkowski. That I don't have a voice like Michael Buble. Like Atty. Habba, I had to get by on my good looks first.  My charming Irish sex appeal got me the opportunity, and then it was my brains that made me the success that I became.

Say what you will about Trump - and Lord knows everyone does - but you can't deny that when Atty. Habba got his attention, he showed impeccable judgement. Just to be among the first 100 million people to say this, Habba Habba.
