This Video From A Helicopter Showing A Volcano Erupting In Iceland Looks Like It's Straight Out Of A Horror Movie

First of all, let's just hope everyone there is alright. Second, this looks like it's straight out of a horror movie. Out of all the weird things that happen on this Earth a volcano erupting is what makes the least amount of sense to me. I understand how it works but when you see it my brain just breaks. I mean this still shot right here looks like it's something produced from a movie

It's part Game of Thrones part some sci-fi horror movie. I know it's to help but you gotta be pretty crazy to be flying a helicopter around this. We're talking about a volcano erupting here! I know I'm a person who would be fleeing the moment I heard about a possible eruption. How do you see these videos and not just think oh shit. Here's just some quotes from people in the area:

An eyewitness in the capital told the BBC that half of the sky in the direction of the town was "lit up in red" from the eruption, and smoke could be seen billowing into the air.

Somehow there's been no injuries reported and it doesn't appear to be as serious as they thought. Again, I don't understand how when you see the videos and pictures. That sky is as red as red can be. There's lava flowing everywhere. I think of all batshit crazy things we see with Mother Nature, a volcanic eruption takes the cake. Then you see the quotes from those in Iceland and they just go about business as normal.
