Eagles BARELY Take Care Of Dallas At Home And Improve To NFL Best 8-1

Good GOD that would've been the most devastating and destructive loss to the Philadelphia fanbase since, well, the Phillies 2-weeks ago. But still. That was close. Too close.

It would've been good if the Eagles continued to dominate the entire 2nd half like they came out of halftime slinging, but we digress. It would've been nice if the Eagles offense could've done the cool things they do where they hold the ball the entire 4th quarter and close out the game when they realistically had the chance - TWICE, but we digress. It would've been ideal if the Eagles didn't have 3 defensive penalties worth 40000000000 yards on the Cowboys' final drive with 40 sec left, but we digress.

8-1. Beat the Cowboys at home in the most important game of the season while heading into an absolute gauntlet of a schedule. Feels good to feel good.

And it wasn't easy. Jalen Hurts, man. The dude is obviously not 100% healthy. His knee might explode at the speed of sound at any second of any game. Yet he's still able to both Brotherly Shove and perform pure sex via TD throws on the gridiron at will.

Then having to deny the Cowboys in the 4th quarter on the goalline, specifically on 3rd & 4th down, was a Super Bowl worthy stop by a Super Bowl worthy team. LOVE to see it (even tho the Cowboys still scored very immediately on the next drive)

Oh, and a 2pt conversion that proved to be a little costly. Dak gonna Dak!

Again, 8-1. Take it in. Enjoy the BYE week because coming back the Birds are @KC, home vs. Buffalo then SF, then @Dallas and @SEA. Yikes. Time to get healthy get ready take care of NFC Home Field by Christmas.

Go Birds.
