Steve Smith Unloaded On Jerry Jeudy And Called Him An Average, Tier 3 Wide Receiver That Is Unable To Handle Criticism

Hey Jerry Jeudy, Steve Smith has a message for you:

Actually excuse me, Agent 89 has a message for you. You know someone enjoys talking shit when they refer to themselves by the rare 4th person, which is an Agent name they made up for themselves like they are in a James Bond movie.

Not that any of this is a surprise to anybody that followed Steve Smith during his playing days or even his announcing days because that man has treasured letting people know exactly how he feels about them forever. It's one thing when some idiot fat blogger like yours truly is criticizing an athlete or even a talking suit. But when the guy doing the talking is a former player that put up more than 1000 receptions, 14,000 yards, and 80 touchdowns, it's hard to talk back unless you are really good.

To that point, I think we all thought Jerry Jeudy was going to be really good in the NFL. But based on what he's done in his 3+ seasons in the league, I don't think he's reached the "really good" level and to be honest tier 3 may be even a little too rich for his play considering how deep the receiver position is right now in the NFL.

We'll see if all that changes the rest of this year or if/when Jeudy actually gets traded out of the football hell that is Denver right now. But starting a shit talking war with Steve Smith is a classic blunder, like getting involved in a land war in Asia.

Also A+ work by Steve Smith saying he is HOPING that Jeudy has a good game today and proves him wrong so if Jeudy balls out, Steve can claim Jerry did exactly what he wanted, which in term makes Steve Smith a great motivator. That is as good a dad move as it gets from a guy who added Sr. to his jersey after he became a father.
