Deshaun Watson Was Flat Out Awful As The Browns Put On A Master Class On How To Lose A Football Game
What an absolute fucking disaster. A true masterpiece in how to lose a football game. I shouldn't be as surprised as I am, seeing as this is the same dumpster fire of an organization that I've known my entire life, but I couldn't have imagined anything like how tonight unfolded. Because the fact of the matter is that I've ever been more optimistic about this team than I was coming into this game. We are better than the Steelers. Literally every single person on Earth knows it. But at the end of the day, we're the Browns and they're the Steelers. And everything that could possibly have gone wrong went wrong tonight.
Pick 6 on the first play of the game because our backup tight end can't catch? Check.

Season ending injury to our best player and heart and soul of the team? Check.
Missed field goal? Check.
Our franchise quarterback, who unfortunately is known for not keeping his hands to himself, could not keep his hands to himself tonight either. 2 facemask penalties? Check. Should've been ejected for touching a referee? Check.

And through all of that….we still held a lead with the ball with 7:00 min to play. Until our backup Left Tackle had to try and block the best pass rusher in the NFL.
Completely missed him? Second defensive touchdown? Game winning defensive touchdown? Check check check.
AND WE STILL HAD A CHANCE. But the Refs didn't want to see us get rewarded for playing like absolute shit, so they completely swallowed their whistles on one of the most blatant pass interference calls of all time.
What a fucking joke. I can't blame the refs, but also, how is that not interference?
Whatever. Season is over. We can't lose to the fucking Steelers and expect to be any good. I'm pretty sure the Steelers are tanking, and they still beat us. Like, here's a stat for you: THE STEELERS DID NOT RUN A PLAY IN THE RED ZONE. And they still fucking beat us. They had 9 first downs the entire game. And they still fucking beat us. They were 4 of 14 on 3rd down. And they still fucking beat us. THEY PLAYED LIKE SHIT. And they still fucking beat us.
We're injured, our quarterback is overpaid and awful, and we're the Cleveland Browns. That is a bad combination. I can't even say we're on to Week 3. It's over. We're on to 2024.
