Travis Kelce Tried To Jump On The Microphone At The White House Today But Was Prevented By Patrick Mahomes. Which Begs The Question, Why Can't Patrick Practice This Same Censorship Of His Brother Jackson?

NY Post - The Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs made their visit to the White House on Monday and the team’s star tight end and quarterback appeared to have some fun during their second trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in the past three years.

After the duo posed for a photo on stage with President Biden with a Chiefs no. 46 jersey, Kelce – dressed in a red suit and black shirt — walked over to the podium with the Presidential seal and began addressing the crowd.

“So I’ve been waiting for this …” Kelce said before Mahomes stepped in to cut him off.

The former MVP looked like a secret service agent pushing his tight end back with the rest of the team.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” Mahomes said.

Cock block.

Narc.

Hater.

All terms one might use to label Patrick Mahomes in this instance.

I don't think this was coordinated between the two because we've seen more than enough of them know what the other is doing without thinking and this wasn't that. Was Kelce a little tipsy off the special bubbly the White House stores in the cellar? Or a little too much of Grandpa Joe's Medicine? I don't think so. I think he was just Travis Kelce being Travis Kelce, attempting to seize the moment visiting the White House, with a wide-open microphone standing there just begging to be spoken in to.

And he was just about to delight our ears to his version of a great 80s wrestling promo for the "thousands in attendance, and the millions watching around the world."

But that little nerd Patrick had to step in and stop him. Which begs the question, and point of this whole blog, if Patrick has no problem standing up to Travis Kelce, one of the biggest, most wild-card dudes around, why is he so hesitant and too timid to do so with his brother Jackson?

Time after time he's embarrassed Patrick and his family -

And time after time Patrick has stood there, and says mum, while we the public loses our collective mind.

Patrick is too good of a guy, too incredible of a player, to keep his mouth shut over this bullshit, having to offer no-comment, again and again. For his tool brother and his "look at me" wife. Especially now that we know he is aware enough to step in and cut off his teammate from getting on a mic at the White House all in good fun.

Can't play it both ways Mr. Mahomes

Also, there's nothing Kelce would have said that would have even moved the needle. Not with the stuff Joe's up there spitting every day. Plus it's not like any of those people in the audience are actual media who (get to) ask questions anyways. It's bigger news that he stopped him from speaking than it would have been had he actually spoke.
