Matt Damon Is Trying To Sign Michael Jordan In The First Trailer For 'Air'

Sonny Vaccaro, a shoe salesman at Nike, works to sign Michael Jordan to a deal to wear their shoes.

I'm pumped for this movie for a few reasons.

#1. Like most people, I have a base understanding of Nike's origins and how their big success was built off the back of MJ. However, I don't know a lot of the nitty gritty details. I'm excited to see how they play out so I can not only be entertained but learn a little in the process. 

#2. This cast is AWESOME. Best buds Matt Damon and Ben Affleck back together and elite-caliber actress Viola Davis playing MJs mom. Oh and Chris Tucker in what feels like the first time seeing him since Rush Hour 3. Before Tommy Smokes throws a fit, yea, having Bateman is also awesome. 

#3. In addition to starring, Affleck is also directing. What other movies has he directed, you ask? Movies like 'The Town', 'Argo', and 'Gone Baby Gone'. Also 'Live By Night' but we don't talk about that. 

Will this one be any good? I don't know but I have nothing but positive vibes for it. Now it's time to grab a pack of smokes, a large ice coffee from dunkin and wait for the fireworks to start.
