Jonathan Kozub. Getty Images.Winnipeg Jets - Surprise of the league so far. I gave up on them being a Cup contender this season, wow was I ever wrong, they are back and will be an extremely tough out if they have home ice.
Vegas Golden Knights - Fighting for the top seed as we all expected. It would be massive if they could get home Ice in the West.
Dallas Stars - Another surprise team, most had them in playoffs but not towards the top of the West.
Colorado Avalanche - Extremely poor first half for their standard, but they are getting healthy and MacKinnon is starting to cook and has completely taken over games.
Edmonton Oilers - 97 is on another level, we need him and Draisaitl in the playoffs, hopefully, Kane coming back keeps them towards the top of the West.
Los Angeles Kings - Kings are right where everyone thought, but not because of the goaltender we thought. Copley has been amazing for them.
Minnesota Wild - A very dangerous team each night, that always finds a way to win.
Seattle Kraken - Winning all 7 games on a 7 game road trip to set an NHL record, have them sniffing a playoff spot..
Calgary Flames - Team just seems off, still looking for that chemistry after the big shakeups this offseason.

Nashville Predators - They have a tough time tickling the twine, and playoffs seem like a longshot.
St. Louis Blues - Streaky season, but it's not their year, and its time to sell off some assets.
Vancouver Canucks – It’s been a disappointing season to say the least, let’s hope Tocchet can get this group to play the right way.
Arizona Coyotes - The team is not good, but battle hard for all 60 minutes each night. Have stolen some nice wins which is not what the front office or Gary Bettman wants to see.
San Jose Sharks - They are an exciting team to watch but can not keep the puck out of their net to win games.
Chicago Blackhawks - The team stinks, they are in "Tank for Bedard" mode even if Gary wants to say they are not.
Anaheim Ducks - Great young forwards, terrible defense, and the system overall, can you imagine if they add Bedard to this stock of skilled forwards?
