Four Cops Got Fired for Having Sex on Duty With a Female Officer Who Hosted a 'Girls Gone Wild' Hot Tub Party

The last few years have been a tumultuous time in law enforcement. Some high profile incidents of objectively bad policing have eroded confidence in departments across the nation. They've produced calls for widespread reform on one end of the spectrum to all-out defunding the police altogether on the other. Meanwhile crimes of all types continue to rise. The nation is plagued by an overdose epidemic.

And all of these factors have pushed members of the LEO community to the breaking point. Many are reporting their stress levels have never been hire. Others have chosen to leave policing or retire, leading to shortages of qualified, experienced officers capable of protecting the public during this period of uncertainty and change.

Therefore, it's a reason to celebrate when new recruits step up to answer the call to protect and to serve. Someone like Officer Maegan Hall who was sworn into the La Vergne, Tennessee Police Department in August of 2021, and her fellow members of the department. Because in just over two years on the job, she and they set standards for co-worker sex that might be unmatched in the annals of American law enforcement:

Daily Mail - Four police officers from the Nashville suburb of La Vergne were fired for allegedly having sex on duty with a female cop, who was also fired and accused of taking off her top at what the local mayor called a 'Girls Gone Wild' hot tub party.

Patrol officer Maegan Hall of La Vergne Police Department is at the forefront of the investigation after it was revealed in December that she 'engaged in a sexual relationship' with at least four male officers.

Fellow patrol officers Juan Lugo-Perez, Lewis Powell, detective Seneca Shields and Sgt. Henry Ty McGowan admitted to the accusations, according to the report, with Shields claiming he had oral sex with Hall in the department's gym while on duty.

Hall, who is married, is also accused of revealing her breast while at a steamy 'family' Memorial Day boat party with patrol officer Patrick Magliocco, who was suspended, and fellow officers David Durham and Eric Staats.

'Magliocco said that Staats, himself, Durham and Hall were in the hot tub when Hall’s top came off' before the two went off to have sex in the bathroom ...

Hall then pulled Magliocco into the restroom and asked if he 'wanted to f***' and then later gave him oral sex when they got off the boat.

Hall was open about her relationships with the other officers and once bragged to Magliocco about Officer Powell's d*** after performing oral sex on him while on duty, according to the report.

Before Hall was officially hired on the force, she had met up at Officer McGowan's house with her husband and another female.

At the time, Hall was a candidate and had taken her clothes off along with the other female.

'Hall’s husband got upset,' the report reads. 'During that visit, McGowan admitted to taking out his penis with Hall in the room and taking a photo of it. He sent that photo to Hall.'

McGowan denied having sex with Hall but revealed explicit photos and videos he received from her. ...

Lugo-Perez initially denied the claims to investigators but later admitted he had sex with Hall while at the Go Cart USA in Murfreesboro. He also confessed to sending and receiving nude images with Hall.

There's a lot to unpack here. A lot of names and faces to match them up with. But suffice to say Officer Hall had only been on the force a few months and was more or less taking the entire La Vergne PD to the summit of Bone Mountain on a regular basis. I don't know how much protecting was going on, but everyone was getting served. Or serviced.

I mean, who had time for pulling over drunk drivers with all this going on? Gym sex. Naked hot tubs sessions. Boat sex. Stripping down with another chick at a co-workers house with your husband there. "Excuse me while I whip this out." Nude texts going back and forth all over the place. Perhaps best of all, Go Cart USA sex, which has to be a first. Though in this town, who can say for sure? The whole thing sounds like the premise for a soft core Cinemax movie in the 80s. With like Linda Blair or somebody as Maegan.

And if there's anyone in this we should truly feel bad for, it's not Hall or any of her four fellow officers. They all had plenty of job perks. They knew the risks. And chose to throw their careers and the pensions that come after for sloppy blowies from a Nashville 5.5. That's on them. No, the one I pity is whoever is in charge of the Human Resources at the LVPD. Their Toby Flenderson must have gone through hell. Buried under an avalanche of paperwork:

Giphy Images.

from all these people reporting these office romances of a sexual nature, while he or she was getting none of it. Or worse, they weren't reporting it, in which case they had to sort all that out. All the he saids and she saids. The denials and the lies. The facts and the fiction. Then they have to report it up the chain of command for recommendations. No one ever thinks about the poor sap who has to write all this horseshit up while others get to go Suns Out-Guns Out in a hot tub or getting a windy while on duty.

I hope this doesn't further erode the image and the moral of our nation's Thin Blue Line. And frankly, if this is the sort of behavior these brave men and women need to engage in order to relieve the unbelievable stress of their jobs, I say we let them. Any woman willing to kick in the door of some crack den to serve a warrant, or chase a mugger down some dark alley, deserves to go down on as many fellow officers as she pleases. Whatever gets you through another shift.

So best of luck with your next endeavor, Maegan Hall, whatever that is. And if anyone's looking to hire someone for private security work, I know just the former police officer.
